INTERN WITH EMPOWERING ENTERTAINMENT

Real projects. Real platforms. Real entertainment businesses. Build experience that goes beyond the classroom.

Our internships are designed for students and emerging professionals who already have foundational skills and are ready to apply them in a professional environment.

Empowering Entertainment operates across streaming, film, publishing, gaming, digital media, artificial intelligence, audience development and international entertainment business.

Our internship program is designed to give emerging talent practical exposure to the work behind those businesses while allowing interns to develop skills through real projects, professional workflows and measurable responsibilities.

These are not internships built around sitting on the sidelines and watching other people work.

We are looking for motivated people who have already begun learning their craft and want the opportunity to apply those skills, develop professionally and discover what working inside a growing entertainment ecosystem actually involves.

Internship 01

SOCIAL MEDIA GROWTH & CONVERSION INTERNSHIP

EE Vault
Turn Attention Into Audience. Turn Audience Into Subscribers.

Social-media growth is valuable only when it contributes to a larger objective.

The Social Media Growth & Conversion Internship at EE Vault is designed for someone who wants to understand how an entertainment company uses organic social media not simply to accumulate views and followers, but to create traffic, customer acquisition and recurring subscription revenue.

EE Vault is a subscription-based entertainment platform bringing together movies, books, games, premium programs and exclusive content.

The intern will work primarily around TikTok and Instagram, helping develop and test strategies that move audiences from discovery → engagement → interest → EE Vault.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The intern may participate in researching trends and emerging content formats; studying successful entertainment, streaming and creator accounts; helping develop TikTok and Instagram growth strategies; developing content calendars; identifying hooks and concepts; monitoring content performance; analyzing audience retention and engagement; tracking profile visits and website traffic; studying which content creates interest in EE Vault; coordinating creative requirements with AI Content interns; researching competitors; testing organic acquisition strategies; and helping identify repeatable content formats capable of generating both growth and commercial results.

The objective is not simply to publish more. It is to discover what works and understand why it works.

WHAT YOU SHOULD ALREADY KNOW

Applicants should already be highly familiar with TikTok and Instagram and understand the basic language of short-form content.

You should understand concepts such as hooks, watch time, retention, engagement, trends, calls to action and audience behavior.

You should be comfortable with basic social-media analytics and have some familiarity with tools such as CapCut, Canva or equivalent content tools.

You should have excellent written English and be comfortable researching independently.

Previous experience growing an account, creating viral or high-performing content, operating a personal content account or helping manage an organization's social media is highly desirable.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

You will develop practical experience in organic audience acquisition, entertainment marketing, short-form content strategy, social analytics, experimentation, conversion funnels, subscription economics, consumer behavior and content optimization.

Most importantly, you will learn the difference between content that gets attention and content that helps build a business.

WHY THIS INTERNSHIP IS VALUABLE

Millions of people know how to post.

Far fewer understand how to build an audience strategically and connect audience behavior to measurable business results.

This internship is designed to give you something considerably more valuable to discuss with a future employer than:

“I managed an Instagram account.”

You should leave able to explain what you tested, what grew, what failed, what converted and what you learned.

Internship 02

GAME DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP

EE Vault
Build Games People Can Actually Play.

The EE Vault Game Development Internship gives emerging developers the opportunity to apply skills they have already begun developing to games intended for an operating entertainment platform.

This is not an introductory coding course.

Applicants should already understand the fundamentals of programming and game development.

The internship is designed to take you from academic projects, tutorials and prototypes toward the realities of developing, testing, improving and potentially releasing games for actual users.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Depending upon experience and specialization, interns may participate in gameplay programming; mechanics; game logic; front-end development; UI implementation; scoring systems; progression; levels; debugging; optimization; mobile compatibility; testing; QA; prototypes; integration; improvements to existing games; and development of new game concepts.

Interns will work on defined projects and development sprints with tangible deliverables.

WHAT YOU SHOULD ALREADY KNOW

Applicants must have working knowledge of at least one game engine or game-development framework, such as:

  • Unity
  • Godot
  • Unreal Engine
  • Phaser
  • Or another relevant web/game-development environment

Applicants should understand fundamental programming concepts including variables, functions, conditions, loops, objects/classes and debugging.

You should already be able to create or modify basic gameplay mechanics and understand concepts such as player input, collision, scoring, game states and user interaction.

Experience with relevant languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, C++, GDScript or equivalent languages will depend upon your chosen development environment.

Git/GitHub experience is strongly preferred.

You do not need to be an expert or professional developer. You do need to have progressed beyond watching tutorials.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

You will gain practical exposure to collaborative development, game architecture, development workflows, debugging, QA, version control, UI/UX, project scoping, optimization, development priorities and the compromises involved in turning an idea into a functioning product.

You'll experience the difference between “I made this for a class” and “We built this for users.”

WHY THIS INTERNSHIP IS VALUABLE

One of the most important questions facing an emerging developer is:

What have you actually built?

This internship is intended to help you build that answer.

Where permitted, interns may be able to reference approved released projects or development contributions in their portfolios.

Internship 03

AI CONTENT & CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY INTERNSHIP

EE Vault / Empowering Entertainment
Create the Next Generation of Entertainment Content.

Generative AI is changing how entertainment can be visualized, marketed and experienced.

This internship is designed for creators who already have some familiarity with generative tools and want to push considerably further.

You will experiment at the intersection of AI + entertainment + cinema + social media + audience psychology.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Interns may participate in AI video creation; image generation; image-to-video workflows; cinematic social concepts; visual effects concepts; promotional content; prompt development; character and environment consistency; creative experimentation; short-form content; multiple concept variations; tool evaluation; and collaboration with the Social Media Growth & Conversion intern.

The objective is not to generate endless AI images. It is to create content people actually want to watch.

WHAT YOU SHOULD ALREADY KNOW

Applicants should already have hands-on familiarity with at least some current generative-media tools.

Examples may include Runway, Kling, Veo, HeyGen, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly or equivalent emerging platforms.

You should understand basic prompting and have experimented with image generation and/or image-to-video or text-to-video workflows.

Basic video-editing ability is expected.

Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or equivalent software is beneficial.

You should have a strong visual sense and understand that successful AI content requires more than entering a prompt.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

You will develop skills in generative-media workflows, cinematic prompting, visual storytelling, creative iteration, AI production pipelines, short-form entertainment, social-media optimization and evaluating emerging technologies.

You will also learn when not to use AI and when conventional editing, storytelling or design produces a better result.

WHY THIS INTERNSHIP IS VALUABLE

Individual AI platforms will change.

The lasting professional skill is knowing how to use emerging technology to solve creative problems.

This internship gives you the opportunity to experiment in the context of actual entertainment brands and audiences rather than generating content solely as technical demonstrations.

Internship 04

EXECUTIVE & CONTENT OPERATIONS INTERNSHIP

Empowering Entertainment
Learn How an Entertainment Ecosystem Actually Operates.

This is not a traditional personal-assistant internship centered around calendars and appointments.

The Executive & Content Operations Intern will work across the operational side of an entertainment ecosystem encompassing streaming, digital publishing, editorial content and entertainment projects.

This position is designed for an exceptionally organized person interested in understanding how content moves from idea to publication and how multiple projects are managed simultaneously.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The intern may participate in EE Vault content uploading and organization; preparing movies, books, games and premium programs for publication; checking descriptions, images and categories; maintaining content records; assisting with magazine publishing; formatting and scheduling articles; managing recurring magazine series; maintaining editorial calendars; organizing digital assets; project tracking; research; internal documentation; deadline coordination; and selected executive operations.

As experience and trust develop, responsibilities can expand.

WHAT YOU SHOULD ALREADY KNOW

Applicants must have excellent written English and exceptional attention to detail.

You should be comfortable using computers, cloud-based software and unfamiliar digital platforms.

Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace is expected.

Experience with WordPress or another CMS, website administration, content publishing, Canva, spreadsheets, project-management platforms or digital asset organization is strongly preferred.

You must be capable of learning new software independently.

Most importantly, you should be the type of person who notices that something is wrong before someone has to point it out.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

You will gain exposure to OTT/streaming operations, content management, digital publishing, editorial workflow, entertainment metadata, scheduling, digital asset management, project coordination and executive operations.

You will see how several different entertainment businesses operate together.

WHY THIS INTERNSHIP IS VALUABLE

Future producers, media executives, content managers and entrepreneurs need more than ideas.

They need execution.

This position provides unusually broad exposure to the infrastructure behind entertainment and publishing—the work audiences never see but without which nothing gets released.

Internship 05

INTERNATIONAL FILM PRODUCTION BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP

5.2.3 PRODUCTIONS — France
Learn How Films Cross Borders.

Where a film shoots can affect millions of dollars.

Tax incentives, locations, crews, production costs, co-production structures and local partners can all influence a producer's decision.

This internship introduces students to the intersection of film production and international business development.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Interns may research upcoming films and television productions; identify producers and production companies; identify projects potentially suited to filming in France or Europe; research international productions; identify decision-makers; develop qualified prospect databases; research production territories and incentives; prepare company/project briefs; assist with approved outreach; track communications; conduct follow-up research; research film markets and industry events; and identify potential business opportunities for 5.2.3 PRODUCTIONS.

WHAT YOU SHOULD ALREADY KNOW

Applicants should have excellent research and written communication skills.

A foundational understanding of film and television production is strongly preferred.

Students studying film, producing, entertainment business, international business, communications, marketing, sales, economics or related subjects are particularly encouraged to apply.

Professional-level English is highly desirable.

French plus English is particularly valuable. Additional European languages are an advantage.

You should be comfortable researching companies and individuals, using spreadsheets/databases and communicating professionally.

Prior sales experience is not required.

Curiosity, persistence and the ability to research intelligently are.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

You will learn about international film production, production services, European production, production incentives, cross-border business, producer research, prospect qualification, B2B communication, film markets and business-development pipelines.

You'll begin understanding why productions choose one territory over another—and how companies compete to attract them.

WHY THIS INTERNSHIP IS VALUABLE

Film education and business education often exist separately.

This internship sits directly between them.

Students interested in becoming producers, production executives, international sales professionals, film commissioners, production-service executives or entertainment entrepreneurs can gain exposure to the commercial machinery behind international filmmaking.

Internship 06

ENTERTAINMENT PARTNERSHIPS & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP

EE Vault
Learn How Distribution Creates Growth.

Building an entertainment platform is one challenge.

Getting it in front of the right audience is another.

The EE Vault Partnerships & Business Development Internship focuses on one of the most valuable skills in business: finding organizations and people who already reach the audience you need and creating a reason to work together.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The intern may identify potential affiliates and distribution partners; research creators, communities, organizations, media businesses and other potential partners; analyze audience alignment; research decision-makers; build qualified prospect lists; develop partnership concepts; assist with approved outreach; track communications; maintain partnership pipelines; research affiliate and revenue-share structures; prepare partner briefs; and evaluate partnership performance.

The objective is quality rather than mass prospecting.

WHAT YOU SHOULD ALREADY KNOW

Applicants should have excellent research and written communication skills.

You should understand basic business and marketing concepts and be comfortable learning how subscription businesses work.

Students studying business, entrepreneurship, marketing, communications, entertainment business, sales or related disciplines are particularly encouraged to apply.

Experience with spreadsheets, CRM systems, LinkedIn research or lead generation is useful but not essential.

Previous professional sales experience is not required.

However, you should be comfortable communicating with people you do not know and should not be discouraged by unanswered messages or rejection.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

You will gain experience with business development, partnership strategy, affiliate economics, recurring-revenue models, subscription businesses, B2B communication, prospect qualification, pipeline management and negotiation preparation.

Most importantly, you'll learn to think beyond:

“What can they do for us?”

toward:

“Why would this partnership make sense for them?”

WHY THIS INTERNSHIP IS VALUABLE

Business development is applicable to virtually every industry.

Someone who knows how to identify opportunities, open doors, create mutually beneficial propositions and develop commercial relationships possesses a skill that remains valuable regardless of which company or industry comes next.

Here, you get to learn those skills around a live subscription-based entertainment platform.

MORE THAN A LINE ON YOUR RÉSUMÉ

We believe an internship should give you something you could not get simply by sitting in a classroom.

Our internships are designed around practical learning, exposure to real professional workflows and participation in real projects appropriate to the intern's experience and educational objectives.

The objective is not simply to finish the program saying:

“I interned there.”

We want you to leave able to explain what you learned, what you worked on, what challenged you, what you contributed and what you can now do better than when you arrived.

WHAT YOU CAN GAIN

Depending on your internship and the projects available during your placement, you may gain practical experience involving entertainment, streaming, film, publishing, gaming, artificial intelligence, audience development, international business, digital media or entrepreneurship.

Successful participants may receive documentation of their internship and responsibilities and a professional reference reflecting their actual performance.

Exceptional participants may also be eligible for a LinkedIn recommendation.

Where appropriate and expressly permitted, interns may be able to reference selected completed work in their professional portfolio.

Confidential, proprietary, copyrighted or unreleased material may not be used without authorization.

We are happy to cooperate with colleges and universities regarding academic credit when the institution approves the internship.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

You do not need to know everything.

You do need the foundational skills required for the internship you select.

We are looking for people who have already begun learning their craft and are ready to apply that knowledge in a professional environment.

We value curiosity, initiative, reliability and resourcefulness.

We particularly value people who:

  • Research before asking
  • Attempt to solve problems before giving up
  • Communicate when something is unclear
  • Meet their commitments
  • Accept feedback
  • Learn quickly
  • Finish what they start

SHOW US, DON'T JUST TELL US

A résumé tells us where you studied and where you worked.

It doesn't necessarily tell us what you can do.

A developer should be able to show something they have built.

A creator should be able to show something they have created.

A growth applicant should understand why content performs.

A business-development applicant should understand how to identify a genuine opportunity.

An operations applicant should be able to demonstrate organization, reliability and attention to detail.

We are interested in potential—but we also want evidence that you have already started developing it.

REMOTE BY DESIGN

Positions designated as remote are structured for digital collaboration and may be completed remotely subject to applicable laws, educational requirements and institutional approval.

Interns should have reliable internet access, appropriate computer equipment for their role and the ability to communicate consistently while working independently.

Specific schedules, duration, educational requirements and internship terms will be established for each position and jurisdiction.

READY TO APPLY?

Choose the internship that best matches what you already know—and what you most want to learn next.

Please apply only for one of the positions specifically listed on this page.

Your application must clearly identify the EXACT internship position you are applying for. If we cannot immediately see which listed position you are applying for, the application will not be considered.

To apply, please email:

  • Your résumé
  • A letter explaining the exact internship position you are applying for, why you are interested in that particular role, and why your education, experience, existing skills or previous work make you a strong candidate.

For creative or technical positions, you are welcome to include links to relevant work, portfolios, games, GitHub repositories, videos, social accounts or other projects that help demonstrate your current skills.
